Independents: Seems weird dial changed

I saw one from an AD that had a similar splotchy grey in it. I didn’t notice it at the time until I saw another post from someone in another forum. Then I looked back and could see it for sure. Plus yours from 3 weeks ago. That makes 3 like that. Are you sure it wasn’t always that way? I’m not sayin

Independents: Return policy 7 or 14 days?

Seems like you said several weeks ago. Was their policy like 7 or 14 days? That sucks and sorry to hear, but I would guess that it might be the amount of time that is working against you with the AD.

Independents: So seems not isolated

If you didn’t post on other forums, it seems at least one other person has had an identical issue with the fume having more grey being splotchy too. I think that person got the AD to accept the return for full refund or credit.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Looks nice. Not limited too.

So same dial as the limited release two years ago but not limited. If I were to get it, I’d get the one with the bracelet as I think that looks even better and gives the versatility of a strap switch anyway.

Patek Philippe: I don’t have a problem with ADs rewarding repeat customers

I think it makes sense. There’s a finite amount of pieces and do you allocate to someone who has purchases several watches or no watches. I don’t feel someone has a “right” to buy an aquanaut or nautilus or whatever — so long as there’s not some unlawful discrimination. But it doesn’t strike me as a

Patek Philippe: I don’t like the use of the word blackmail

Because it seems there is sanctioned “blackmail” if it’s Patek’s own products of buying a Calatrava, complications, etc. to get an aquanaut or nautilus. I also don’t think there’s anything wrong with that too—it’s just the word they use. And I can see why they don’t want jewelry or other products bu

Patek Philippe: They’ve now made is consistent

This morning when I looked, unlike yesterday, the 120 m in the description now is gone and replaced. So there’s no inconsistency anymore. For 5168G description: Paying tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Aquanaut launched in 1997, the men’s model is now available in the new 42.2-millimeter “Jumbo

Jaeger-LeCoultre: The blue dial really is amazing

I love that steel blue color compared to the darker tribute blue. Have you had that on order since it was released last year?

Independents: Thanks! White gold case

40mm in size. I wanted gold over steel since it’s sort of straddling the line of casual and dress watch—and I like the extra heft of the gold.

Independents: Forgot about the Pioneer.

One of the current line that I looked at less as the case shape just didn’t do it for me, even though it’s a great line.
